Banner make two changes

Clare Under 21 manager John Minogue celebrates their victory over Kilkenny at Croke Park
28 July 2010

Clare boss John Minogue has made two changes to his team for tonight's Bord Gais Energy Munster U21HC final against Tipperary at Semple Stadium.

Liam Markham and Eoin Hayes are promoted to the first XV at the expense of Shane Golden and Kevin Heagney, who started the semi-final win over Limerick. Markham is named at right half back and Hayes at left half forward.

This results in a new midfield pairing being formed where Sean Collins links up with Nicky O Connell.

The Banner County will be looking to last year's All-Ireland winners, including Cathal Chaplin, Caimin Morey, O'Connell, team captain John Conlon and Darach Honan, to see off a star-studded Tipp side which features no fewer than nine senior panellists.

Clare (U21HC v Tipperary): D Tuohy; D Nash, C Chaplin, J Gunning; L Markham, C Morey, P O'Connor; N O'Connell, S Collins; P Vaughan, J Conlon, E Hayes; C McGrath, D Honan, F Kennedy.
