Clare’s Colm Galvin believes it is good for them to have something to focus on so quickly following last weekend’s demolition at the hands of Tipperary.

The Banner don’t have much time to lick their wounds following the defeat as they face All-Ireland champions Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday.

Galvin feels that this is the perfect tonic for them as it means they can’t dwell on the defeat to Tipp as they must focus on the weekend’s clash.

“We have to look at what happened, but it is a big turnaround now next Sunday and we will have to go back to the drawing board on it fairly quickly,” Galvin told the Clare Champion.

“That Limerick game takes on even more importance now but the great thing about this competition is that we have another game now to focus on and that is what we have to do.

“We are going into the home of the All-Ireland champions and that is going to be a massive challenge and it is one that we will have to make sure we are ready for.”
