Under the new format, the 16 teams currently in Division 1 and 2 will make up Divisions 1A and 1B. The remaining 16 team would be moved into Division 2 and 3 based on their final standings in this year's league.


Can anyone tell me where will we Cavan be in this new set up please. ??

It seems fairly straight forward Sean. Division 1 & 2 teams (as at the end of this year) will be randomly distributed in Divisions 1A and 1B. The divisions formerly known as 3 and 4, become 2 & 3. Teams who were scheduled to play in Divisions 3 and 4 next year will play in the re-named Divisions 2 and 3. So, Cavan who avoided relegation last year, will play in the re-named Division 2 of NFL in the coming season.

Seems its the ONLY way we will ever get to div 2 is to restructure the league.. Because under this present management we wont win a promotion, not if last years poor effort is anything to go by.
I think we won 3 games and drew 1 and 2 of the teams we beat were relegated.
There is no real interest amongst the Senior Panel to even pretend that they are trying and ive not seen any passion whatsoever by the Seniors in any game this year..

I was looking at the following words based on their last position, so really there is now change at all why all this messing about when there is no change out from the fact there is no division 4 whats the point
