I have to say that I was a proud man leaving Clones on Sunday.
I was happy that I saw a great comeback by a Cavan team.
I must also pay tribute to the underage stars of the future from Cavan that played on the two teams at halftime.
It was hearting to see names from Cavan like Pearson and Keogan playing on the underage team.

Congratulations on winning Ulster in the minors after so many years, judging by the highlights, must have been a terrific performance. If I'm not mistaken, yer U21s also won Ulster this year, did they not?

I know ye are in the doldrums something awful with the seniors at the moment, but with all that's being achieved in the young teams, hopefully it won't be that way for much longer and ye have reasons to be optimistic

Hey, if we can drag ourselves out of the footballing mire after all these years, anyone can!

My posts have always been consistant, I believe the work being done at the Under 21 grade and the minor grade are the way forward. I congratulate success and effort.
I believe and still belived that the senior set up is fatally flawed. and that the person charged with bringing about change is incapable of doing so.
you believe that I have to be supportive of each and every grade and each and every person connect with each grade to be a 'true' fan. I believe that that as a true fan it is my duty to not acceptable the unacceptable.

calm down dear we love having a good old row here in Cavan. anyway there are about 3 other threads about the minor and i would say at least 3 or 4 probably containing 20 pages about the under-21s. so we certainly acknowledge what these youngsters have done this year. (beating your own supposed county in the process... i thought you would remember that :))

You guys are more paranoid than an episode of the X-files, Wexford is not my 'supposed' county, Wexford IS my county. And I've better things to do than to pretend to be from Wexford & compound it by pretending to have a missus from Cavan. And of course I remember that result & Cavan's win against us in Breffni in last year's league and how you nearly caught us in Wexford Park this year.

I haven't read these other threads you speak of, so I'll take your word for it, but when I saw a thread detailing Cavan minors doing ye proud, I decided to pop in under the not-unreasonable assumption that it would be full of happy Cavan people over yer first minor provincial title in what, 37 years?

But how silly of me to assume that, it's perfectly normal to celebrate that by accusing each of fraudulent internet user names. With fanfare like that, who needs rivals?

For what it's worth, congrats to the Cavan minors & U21s, hope ye can bring it through to the seniors & challenge Donegal next year! ;-)
