Jaysus!!!!!!!!!!!Ay Dermot the championship's only about half a year away-senior teams are only back training but sure you should have the minors at the peak of their powers already!On the talk of goalies i know young Jackson and Corey Smith could both do a job surely,but of my own admission i wouldn't know too much about other goalies at that age group!

the whole process was a farce from start to finish and it typifies just why Cavan football is where Cavan football is....a main element of the selection criteria was the backroom team...as the lads appointed didnt have one this beggars belief, then on the morning of the announcement calls were made to rectify this using some of the other candidates...i know of at least two of the other candidates being approached to cover up this appointment !!!other lads with years experience of minor football were completely dismissed and it appears coaching qualifications are a waste of time as is development squad invovlement...questions should be asked and not let this matter be swept under the carpet as usual !!!!

cavan allways ave a good minor team bt in the championship just neva gets across the finishing line in games for eg i remember going to the cavan game against down in casement i tink 05 we were winin most f da game bt last 5 mins down just came thru and they went on 2 win the all ireland last year .

Cavan have had some excellent minors in the last 10 years but because of our inferiority complex after years of losing we are unable to win. We must get the belief back!
Virginia College did it, Drumgoon Did it, Ballinagh did it it's a mental thing the players are there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goes to show that you can do it when you have the right people about you.
Congratulations to Tom Reilly for having the balls to do it his way. Cavan to win Ulster and please god the All Ireland as well.
