Well Orla, iam neutral, and i supose in fairness there were a few tight descions which could have went either way, taught maybe the referee could have giving the pentaly to Drumalee near the end, but then again Drumalee should have one the game well, missed alot of goals, !!
Minor Games this weekend:
Sat 26th at 12:
Minor Div2: Drumalee v St Finbars - Tight affair maybe Drumalee by 3 or 4 points
Referee: Martin Brady -Lacken
Minor Div4: Mullahoran v Belturbet - Would say Belturbet by maybe 6 or 7 points
Referee: James Clarke -Killinkere
Sun 27th at 5:30:
Minor Div1: Ramor v Gowna - would say Ramor by 10 points
Referee: Seamus O'Connor - Meath
Mon 28th at 6.00
Minor Div4: Knockbride v Laragh -Tight game, Laragh bt 1 or 2 points.
Referee: Conor Dourneen -Ballinagh
Any thoughts ?

PRO, It's not a dispute between Killygarry and Lavey. Unsurprisingly its the county minor board to blame here. They told both teams by email and indeed were all teams were informed this way that there would be a play-off if both teams finished level on points because points difference cannot be used as one team got to play blackwater gaels and the other team got the points. They then sent both teams a fixture and even tossed a coin to determine venue. Killygarry won the toss so the game was fixed for Crubany this Sunday evening at 6pm. The county board then told Killygarry they were out the next day. This dispute is completely the county boards fault. Complete messing on the part of the county board.

Killygarrylad, the rule is clear in the Offical Guide of the GAA, which cannot be over-ruled by a Minor Board or even the Country Board. Firitly it is not the Country Boards fault, but the Minor Board, two seperate bodies.
Rule 6.22 of the GAA Offical Guide 2010 states that (Also. Rule 6.37 of the Offical Guide; The Regulations outlined in Rule 6.22 in relation to a League
Part of a Championship shall apply to League Competitions),
If a Championship is partly organised on a League
basis, the following Regulations shall apply:
(a) League results shall be credited as follows: 2
points for a win, and one for a draw.
(b)If a Team is Disqualified or Retires during the
course of the League Stage, its played Games
shall stand and its unplayed Games shall be
awarded to the Opposing Teams.
(c) Where Teams finish with equal points for
Qualification for the Concluding Stages, or
for Promotion or Relegation, the tie shall be
decided by the following means and in the
order specified
:
(i)
Where two Teams only involved - the
outcome of the meeting of the two Teams
in the previous game in the Competition;
(ii) Scoring Difference (subtracting the total
Scores Against from total Scores For);
(iii) Highest Total Score For;
(iv) A Play-Off.
Exceptions to (c):
(1) In relation to means
(ii) and (iii)
above,
if the accumulated scores of a team, so
involved, are affected by a disqualification,
loss of game on a proven objection,
retirement or walk over, the tie shall be
decided by a Play-Off.
As the above rule states the head to head comes into play here. If the Lavey and Killygarry game had ended in an draw, then there would be a play-off.
It is very easy rule to understand, Lavey go to the seimi-finals. It is harsh as your scoring diff is only 9 off Lavey, who bet Blackwater Geals by 15 pionts on Sunday last.
You said that a toss had been maded, i high say that it wasn't.

PRO, READ MY POST "COUNTY MINOR BOARD" is to blame. If no toss was made how then can a fixture be made by the secretary and sent to both teams?
