The county board spent all day yesterday prior to the announcement of this new management team trying to get a trainer and selectors to work with them. All the other candidates were asked to join this team.

Look All anyone would be better than N. Lynch but to tell you the truth I am not one for mixing my words so despite the fact M.Graham won nothing with the minors I would have given him two more years but had a chat with him regarding Personal issues when it comes to players and their clubs. He had a good way with players he might not have had it with people like me but most of the young lads seemed to get on with him. M.Lee having won the intermediate titel with Drumalee should have put his hat in the ring.
This Donohoe person is he the same person that jumped ship with Belturbet mid term.?????

Gary donohe left belturbet when they were out of the championship and had 13 league games played so i wouldn't call that jumping ship mid-term . Gary Donohoe managed cormore gaels minors a few years ago and then managed ballinamore seniors and belturbet seniors. McCabe was joint manager of gowna minors last year,hopefully this will answer all the questions about gary donohoe and mc mcabe.

Well hurler40 this is my opinion of N.Lynch and it will not change. M.Graham had our minors for the last three years are you saying then that N.Lynch knows more about our minors I don't think so. D Reilly from Ballyhaise is close to these young players as well??
College football cannot be compared to Inter County football huge difference. I see them all over the year.
Just in passing no mattewr how good your players are if they don't have discipline and respect they will win nothing, this I will add applies across the board from underage to our seniors.

Now that it approaching official, I have to say I'm disappointed with the choice. Another former player from the recent past, with little experience of coaching, certainly nothing successful anyway, and a pal from his own club to help him. Hardly the most professional combination in the world. Looks like the CC are fast tracking Big D for a bigger role in the future. Will they ever learn?
