American Tea Party
Gowna GFC is hosting an American style tea party in the Pikers Lodge on Sunday the 2nd of June starting at 8pm. A person will host a table and they will provide sandwiches and cakes for their table and the Pikers Lodge will provide the tea. It is €100 per table with 10 people at each table. Music on the night by Footsteps. Anyone who is interested in taking a table contact Seamus Halton on 0868229942.

Cavan vs. Armagh
Cavan played Armagh in the Ulster SFC preliminary round at Kingspan Breffni Park on Sunday last. Cavan were victorious on a score line of 1-15 to 1-11. Gowna's Mark McKeever was a second half substitute for Cavan. The seniors play Fermanagh on Sunday the 16th of June in Enniskillen. Also well done to Cavan minors who got an injury time winning point to beat Armagh in Ulster MFC preliminary round. They now play Fermanagh in the quarter final next Sunday at 7pm in Clones. Gary Donohoe and Seamus McCabe were part of the management team.

Senior League
The senior's have two games this weekend, Away to Killygarry on Friday night at 8pm and Ballyhaise at home on Sunday at 2pm.

Juniors League
The junior game fixed for last Saturday night was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch in Killygarry and will be refixed for a later date.
