UP For The RAS
Walk /Run/ Cycle
This Fundraising event takes place on Sat May 18th .This year it is in Association with the Orthopaedic unit in Our Lady of Lourdes hospital Drogheda. We hope to raise enough money to purchase a lift enabler. This will be of great benefit to patients who had recent Leg surgery and Hip replacements. We have an 80k Cycle starting at 10.30 am, a 30k Cycle starting at 11am and Walk starting at 11.30 . All events start and finish from Mountnugent GAA clubrooms. All U16 years of age taking part in walk or cycle must be accompanied by an adult. all cyclists must wear a helmet. Sponsorship cards are available. Contact Ned 0876199370 or Peter Boylan 0862254181. If you are unable to attend or take part and wish to make a contribution, you may do so by contacting Treasurer Peter Boylan at above number.
We ask all those wishing to take part to arrive at least 1hr before start time of your event to allow for registration which will take place within Clubrooms.

All participants must be Registered before each event.
Refreshments will be served on the day and we would be very grateful and gladly accept sandwiches and cakes that you may wish to provide, Contact: Sean 0872938492

Senior fixtures/results
The seniors played Killenkere on Sunday with Killenkere winning the game with a scoreline of 2-11 to 1-12. no games this weekend, next game v Munterconnaught 24th May. At 8pm

Ulster championship preliminary round
Cavan V Armagh
Cavan play Armagh In the preliminary round of the Ulster championship on Sunday 19th of May at 2pm in Kingspan Breffni Park. Mountnugent GAA would like to wish David Givney and the rest of the Cavan team every success in this years championship. Cavan minors also play Armagh on Sunday. Throw in at 12.15.

Defibrillators
Two defibrillators have been erected in the area and a number of people have been trained to use

Sheelin Turf cutters and contractors
association
A public meeting will be held at 8pm sharp on Friday May 17th in the community centre in
Mountnugent
All local public representatives will be in attendance where the
concerns and queries of turf cutters will be addressed. It is vitally important that all interested
parties attend.

The Under 16s play St Joseph on Thursday 15th in
Munterconnaught at 7.30

Juvenile boot recycling scheme:
All juvenile players are reminded to bring any old boots which no longer fit, to the clubrooms. It is hoped that they may be useful to other players and could save some expense for parents.
