Under 14;
The lads put in a solid display earning victory over Castleblayney in the handcrafthurleys.com league on Wednesday. A big test this Wednesday as they travel to table toppers Carrickmacross at 7.30. All support welcome.
Under 12;
We have a series of games for these boys when the under 14 league finishes in two weeks time.
Under 7/8/9/10;
The weather beat us again last Friday. Everyone 9 and under will travel to Kingscourt on Tuesday for some games with the newest ECG HC players 5-6.45.
Kingscourt;
We continue group this coming Tuesday in the Community Centre with games for both the Kingscourt and Bailieborough groups. Hurling has proved very popular in Kingscourt and we hope to continue with this throughout the summer. We are now finalising our programme of Coach Education. We hope to start with the Foundation Level Award in the coming weeks. We might have it over two weekday evenings as weekends are proving difficult to secure with lots of other activities. We hope that as many parents as possible take this opportunity to gain the skills required to help drive the club forward.
Schools Blitz;
Eoin Morrissey and Cavan Hurling Development will have the next round of blitzes this coming Thursday for 1st and 2nd classes for schools in the region at Mullagh Sports Hall. ECG HC catchment schools hope to be well represented as usual.
Hurling Summer Camp;
Cavan Hurling Development/Cavan GAA alongside ECG HC hope to run a hurling camp around the end of August for our catchment area in addition to the Cúl Camps in the summer which will also cater for hurling. This is great news for hurling in the region. More news closer to the time.
