The Seniors enjoyed an excellent win over Crosserlough while the Juniors get their season up and running also - The World Record Attempt for the Biggest 3 Legged Race took place on Saturday
SENIORS & JUNIORS
The Seniors' were five point winners over Crosserlough on Saturday evening in Hugh O'Reilly Memorial Park. The Celts led by four points at half time and kept the visitors at arm's length throughout the second half for their 3rd win of the season.
Final Score: Cootehill Celtic 0-10 Crosserlough 0-05
The Seniors' will play Belturbet away on Sunday afternoon at 2.30pm in Belturbet.

The Juniors eventually got their season eventually started on Satuday when a young side were defeated by Crosserlough in the second half of the double-header in the pitch. While a defeat was disappointing however some of the performances of the younger players is very encouraging.
The Juniors were also out on Bank Holiday Monday against Drumalee in St. Felim's Park and after being behind by 9 points early in the second half, they almost pulled off a Lazarus like recovery and were beaten by two points. Again the Celts had some excellent performers over the 60 minutes and will play Ballyhaise next on Wednesday 22nd at 8pm in Hugh O'Reilly Memorial Park.
UNDERAGE FOOTBALL
Well done to the Under 12s who played in the Spring League Blitz on Bank Holiday Monday in 3G Kingspan Breffni Park. The young Celts had wins over Drumgoon & Killeshandra & were beaten by Drumalee but most importantly all 17 players played plenty of football and enjoyed themselves!!
The U12s now look forward to the Summer League which begins later this month.
The Under 14s had a bye last week and will play Shannon Gaels next on Monday 13th May at 7.30pm in Hugh O'Reilly Memorial Park.
The Under 16s were beaten by the league leaders Cuchulainns on Thursday evening in Mullagh. The boys have to play Drumgoon this Thursday at 7.30pm in Boyle Park, Drumgoon and will play Drumlane in Hugh O'Reilly Memorial Park next Thursday 16th in the final game before the break for the Junior Cert.

WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT
Well done to all who took part in the 3 Legged Race World Record Attempt on Saturday morning in Hugh O'Reilly Memorial Park. Special mention to all who helped orgainise the event not just in Cootehill but in the 100 + other locations all over the country.
CELTIC WARRIORS
