Ramor and Cavan star Jack Brady in action for DCU
Ramor Underage;
Ramor Underage are holding a Coaching course on Saturday Feb 25th at 10.30am at the Ramor grounds.

The course, which will be facilitated by Andy Mc Govern it is for our coaches at U-6 and U-10 level.
We hope everyone will attend.

Underage training on Saturday mornings for U-6 to U-10's will commence on March 3rd.

Minor League Round 2;
Ramor minors play O'Raghallaigh Gaels at 3pm in Kingscourt on Saturday.

Under 16s;
U-16 Leinster competition on 3rd, 10th and 17th March.

Ramor play St. Vincents of Offaly first at home. Note, all players make themselves available.

Vocational Schools;
Wishing Virginia College U-16's the very best of luck in the Ulster Vocational Schools final this Wednesday 22nd. The game is against Coalisland and will take place in the Athletic Grounds, Armagh. Please support.

Registration 2012;
Registration remains unchanged at €25 per player, €50 for two or more players from the same family. This fee includes insurance for the year. No unregistered player will be permitted to play.

We are looking for volunteers to do First Aid for the coming season.

As we have a large number of children attending Saturday morning training, we need more parents to get involved please.

Coaching Courses;
Games to develop Football (10-12 yrs) Course, 3G Kingspan Breffni Park, Thursday, March 1st at 7.30pm.

GAA Coaching Conference
Cavan GAA is hosting a GAA Coaching Conference on Saturday 3rd March 2012 beginning in the Hotel Kilmore Cavan with breakfast and moving to Kingspan Breffni Park for practical workshops.

The theme of the Conference is "Developing Ideal Players" and this theme through various workshops will explore and examine a variety of GAA related topics.

There will be key note speeches and also two parallel breakout sessions where you will have a choice of what two workshops you want to go and see.

The cost of the Conference is €15 which includes a delegates pack and also breakfast in the Hotel Kilmore.

The Conference will begin at 9.00am and will run through until 2.00pm with a variety of speakers including, Val Andrews (Current Senior County Team Manager), Catherine (NADA Nutritionist), Barry Horgan (NADA Player & Athlete Development Coach).

Cavan A.C.F.L. 2012;
Ramor got off to a disappointing start to their league campaign on Sunday last losing away to a hungry Ballinagh side on a score line of 2-15 to 2-8. Despite an early goal from Ramors James Bradley the home side were on top for most of the game and dominated the play maintaining a comfortable scoring margin throughout the hour.
The second round takes place this coming Sunday 26th with Ramor hosting Redhills at 2 o clock. Please support.

Note, no Junior match.

O'Byrne and Sigerson Cup
Best of luck to Ramor's Jack Brady who is on the DCU Sigerson team who will play University of Ulster, Jordanstown in the semi-final this coming Friday in Galway. Maynooth and University College Cork will contest the other semi-final. The final will be played in Pearse Stadium on Saturday.

Congratulations also to Jack on winning an O'Byrne Cup medal. DCU beat holders Kildare in the final in Port Laoise on Friday last.

Underage Leagues 2012;
U-12 Spring League begins on Saturday Feb 25th and will consist of 5 rounds; 10/3, 26/3, 10/4, and 23/4. There will be a blitz at the 3G on Sat, May 5th and Monday, May 7th. A Summer League will begin on Monday, July 9th, and finish with Final on Saturday, Sep.1st.

U-13 Championship begins on Thursday, June 14th.
finals on 30th and 31st May, and Final on 7th and 8th June. Feile Peil na nOg will take place on Monday, April 9th.

U-16 League begins on Thursday, March 22nd, 5 rounds. Semi-finals on May 17th, with finals on Thursday 24th, and Friday 25th May. The Championship will start on Tuesday July 10th, with semi-finals on 24th July, and Finals on Wednesday and Thursday 1st and 2nd August.

Strictly Come Dancing;
We wish the Strictly come Dancing troupe well on Saturday night next (25th) in the Hotel Kilmore. The very best of luck to our Ramor members taking part and their charities. Ann McEnroe- Virginia Cancer Care, Patrick Farrelly and Aoghan Cahill- Virginia Residential and Day Care.

This course has been postponed until March.

Ramor Utd present "Come dine with me"
As part of our grounds development fundraising initiative, we are asking members of our club and our community to support this latest venture. This will be an entertaining, fun way to raise much needed funds for our club. It is planned to run the event in March. Information letters will be despatched shortly. In the event there is someone who would like to host a "Come dine with me" evening and you don't receive a letter, please let us know. Call 086-1740777.

Club Membership;
Membership for 2012 is now due. Full membership is €30, while Social Membership is €10. You must be a member to use the walking track; this is for Insurance purposes. Please send your membership to Club Treasurer Joe Hopkins, Mullagh Rd, Virginia or contact any committee member.

Walking Track;
Please note that no cars are allowed to enter or park on the Walking Track at Ramor Park.
