Final preparations are now under way for the Under 14 Hurling Championship which also acts as qualification for national Feilé which this year is in Dublin at the end of June. Our lads have worked extremely hard to have themselves ready for this competition. This is our first official appearance at this age group and we hope for a large turnout in support for this team on Sunday 5th February at 12.30 on the 3G at Breffni Park.
Recent Bereavements
Two members of the 1957 Senior Championship winning team have passed away in the past three weeks, namely Charlie Mc Gauran and John Dunne. Charlie was laid to rest in Dublin whilst John was buried in St Anne's Cemetery on Monday last. The club would like to express sympathy to the families of both men who were great exponents of the game and members of a very talented team which brought honour to their town. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anam dílse.
