Reserves

Belturbet picked up a 1-16 to 1-11 away win over Killeshandra on Saturday evening last in Packie Devlin Park. Belturbet got off to a very slow start and were trailing by six points before they started to build some momentum with points coming from Jason O'Reilly, Mark Tully, Jack O'Callaghan and Colum Dennehy to ensure they reduced their arrears to 1-7 to 0-7 at half time. Belturbet would go on to dominate large chunks of the second half as they rattled in 1-9 with Jason O'Reilly kicking points for fun to Killeshandra's four points with a solid defensive effort where Killian Murray, Shane Vesey, Sean Grogan and Wayne Harvey enjoyed good games. The second half goal came from the boot of centre back Mark O'Reilly who received the ball close to the Killeshandra goal before burying his shot into the roof of the net which gave the Rorys a little bit of breathing space which they went onto capitalise on and run out five point victors in the end.  Belturbet: Gavin Brady, Killian Murray(C), Shane Vesey, Sean Grogan, Mark O'Reilly, Wayne Harvey, James McCaffrey, Jack O'Callaghan, Evan O'Reilly, Mark Tully, Colum Dennehy, Ronan Vesey, Jason O'Reilly. Subs: Mark Teevan, Luke Smith, James McPhillips. Our Reserves take on Templeport this weekend with the game potentially being played on Friday night in Bawnboy.  Please keep an eye on facebook or twitter for fixture confirmation.
