Champions 

 Well done to our U20s team that defeated Denn by a single point to win the Div 3 county championship, sponsored by McEvoys Supervalu Virginia, in a thrilling game at Kingspan Breffni 3G on Sunday. The lads were losing by 2 pts at full time when Óisín Cunningham blasted a pass from Paddy Meade into the Denn net in injury time. The lads, captained by Jack Kelly, fought bravely throughout the game and never dropped the heads. A well deserved win for manager Philly Smith and selectors Philly Tinnelly and Paddy Farrelly. Comhghairdeas libh go léir! 

Lotto               

Lotto postponed on last Sunday night as a mark of respect to former committee member Johnny McCullagh, Rocks Rd, who passed away  last Saturday. We extend our sincerest sympathies to Johnny’s wife Eileen and family. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a ainm. The draw will now take place on Tuesday night in the Court Inn, with a draw for more Christmas vouchers.

Committee  

Well done to the following who have agreed to be part of the working committee for 2019: Robbie O’Connell, David Burke, Seamus Sexton, Michael Farrelly (Cornavan), Michael Farrelly (Muff), Gabriel Patterson, Kieran Lynch, Frank Boylan, Brendan Morris, Dr John McMahon, Niall Reilly and Kieran Smith. A serious amount of work goes into running the club every year and it’s all done by dedicated volunteers! Thanks to all. 

Seniors 

David Lennon & Derek Walsh were ratified by the committee at a meeting last Thursday to manage the Kingscourt senior players. Training will start in January.  

Club Membership 2019 

On reviewing the club membership fees the club executive have agreed the present club membership fees are not in line with other GAA clubs in the county and throughout the region. Our club presently caters for boys & girls from U-6’s up to adult teams and provide facilities not matched by most clubs. We as a club provide excellent coaches at all levels with a part time coach employed within the primary schools. Presently the cost to finance the club per annum is in the region of €130,000 with approximately €30,000 raised by our club lotto with the balance raised through other different sources. In reviewing the club membership going forward the following rates has been agreed.  

An Chairde Realta Dunari Family membership = €240 per year {Direct debit €20 per month x 12 months}  This includes full family membership, player insurance, season ticket holder for all home league matches in all grades, 3 lotto tickets per week and 5% discount of all club merchandise ordered on registration day only. An Chairde Realta Dunari Single membership = € 144 per year {Direct debit €12 per month x 12 months} This includes single person membership, player insurance, season ticket holder for all home league matches in all grades and 1 lotto tickets per week. This is applicable to all playing members over the U-20 age level. Adult Players – All players over 20 years old - €120 or single membership of An Chairde Realta Dunari as above.   Students (with valid Student Card) - €75. Juvenile players = U-6’s - U-11’s = €50 per player.   U-13’s - U-20’s = €75 per player {Includes students}.                                   

Adult non playing members incl OAP’s = €50
