Laragh United ensured their passage through to the quarter-finals of the intermediate championship this evening after edging past Cuchulainns by 0-14 to 0-13 at Dolan Park, Virginia.

Points from Ruairi Power and the excellent Fergal McKenna surged Jody Devine's team back in front and their Mullagh counterparts saw back-to-back goal chances fall by the wayside prior to them clawing it back to within a point deep in injury-time.
Bryan Magee had the chance to save a draw with a 40-metre free but it was thrown up by referee Martin Sexton, who had spotted a foul from a Cuchulainns attacker inside, and Laragh came away with it to avert the danger and seal both points.
In Cootehill, Drumgoon sprung the shock of the round with a 1-13 to 0-11 win over Ballyhaise.
Ballyhaise had been in control for the opening 25 minutes before Aogan Farrell's goal turned the game on its head.
Points from Michael McDonald and Mark Murray surged the Goonies in front in the second-half and further scores from Conor Moynagh and midfield stalwart McDonald drove them over the line for their first win in the competition.

Luke McEntee fired in an early goal for the border men but the Rorys hit back with a major of their own from Donal McDonald on eight minutes. Once John Cahill put them in front 10 minutes before the break they wouldn't look back, as the scores of Conal McGinley, Eoin McGuigan and Enda Henry helped them to control the second-half.
Mullahoran came through their derby meeting against Ballymachugh by 1-13 to 1-7 but the junior champions gave the Dreadnoughts their fill of it for the opening 40 minutes or so, with the sides having gone in all square on 1-6 apiece at the interval.
In Ballinagh, Killeshandra took the derby spoils against Cornafean with a 2-12 to 1-10 over the Reds to earn their first points in the race fpr the Tommy Gilroy Cup.
