Congratulations to Lucy Hogan who with her loyal pony Max competed in the UK Tetrathlon Championships recently.    Lucy was selected earlier this year to be part of the Irish Squad.  The Irish Team finished 4th overall and Lucy 5th individually out of well over 100 girls. Tetrathlon provides Competitors with a very challenging test of skills requiring practical horsemanship, general athletic ability and a steady hand for shooting.  Lucy is daughter of Kate and Mick Hogan Drumcrow Corlesmore  and we wish Lucy and her pony Max continued sucess. 

 

 

The Deirdre and Ronan Run Part 3

Best of luck to Deirdre and Ronan Donnelly, Clonloskin, Crossdoney, who will aim to complete a fitness challenge for charity on June 30th when they will run 6 kms in each of seven GAA grounds around county Cavan all in aid of Lauralynn Childrens Hospice. Album Launch. Fr. Darragh Connolly

An album called "I Hear You Calling Me- A Tribute to Count John McCormick" by Fr. Darragh Connolly will be launched by Dr. Labhras O'Murchu of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann in the Hotel Kilmore at 3 p.m. Sunday 17th June.  some tracks will be performed and the album will be for sale.  This is a free event.  Everyone welcome.  Guest of honour will be County John McCormacks granddaughter Tish Tinney.

Best of luck Aoife Young and Meabh Masterson who are members of the Cavan U14 Ladies panel who will take on Dublin in the U14A  Final in Lannieire, Dunleer, Co Louth this Saturday 16th June with throw in at 2 p.m.  All support for the girls would be appreciated.
