Mayo native Pearce Hanley played his 150th AFL games today when his Gold Coast Suns were defeated by Adelaide Crows.

It finished 18.11 (119) to 6.10 (46) in favour of the hosts at the Adelaide Oval, where veteran Eddie Betts fired six goals.

Last week saw the Suns create a heart-warming video for the 30-year-old Hanley to help mark his 150th game in the league – becoming only the fifth Irish person to do so.
