Wexford ace Mattie Forde has guaranteed Wexford fans that he will have overcame the hamstring injury that has troubled him somewhat over the last month to be 100 per cent fit to face Tyrone. The Kilanerin attacker, who has the chance to become the Championship's top-scorer for the year against the Red Hands in under two weeks time, had been suffering from a hamstring injury which he carried into both wins over Down and Armagh. While looking absorbed with the injury in the first half of the quarter-final against Armagh, he netted the decisive goal in the second-half to send the Model men into the last four of the All-Ireland SFC. Forde admitted: "Everything is moving in the right direction. I have received intensive treatment on the injury and it's coming along nicely. There's no doubt that I will be 100 per cent for the semi-final. "We are now in the last four and looking forward to it. We will once again be the underdogs but we've already beaten two Ulster sides, Down, and reigning provincial champions, Armagh. It will be a huge day and one that I will not miss."
