Bohane could miss semi-final for Kerry

August 19, 2008
Kerry defender Daniel Bohane has emerged as doubt for the Kingdom's All-Ireland semi-final meeting with rivals Cork this Sunday at Croke Park. The Austin Stacks clubman picked up a back injury at the weekend that could see him miss Kerry's hopes of avenging their Munster defeat this year to progress to their fourth All-Ireland decider in as many years. Although not likely to start against the Rebels on Sunday, Bohane made his senior debut for Kerry as a substitute in their thrilling quarter-final victory over Galway the last day out and curbed the bearing that Joe Bergin was having for the Connacht Champions. Bohane was also apart of Kerry's successful Under 21 side that saw off Kildare to capture the All-Ireland title this year and would provide a useful outlet to Pat O'Shea's defence if deemed fit for this weekend.
