Counihan sweating on key pair

Cork boss Conor Counihan
Cork manager Conor Counihan will have to wait until later on in the week to find out whether or not he will be with two of his key players for Sunday's All-Ireland semi-final against Kerry. All Star midfielder Nicholas Murphy is still struggling with the hamstring injury he sustained two weeks ago in training, while veteran full-back Graham Canty has not fully recovered from strained medial knee ligaments. Both missed the quarter-final win over Kildare last month and seem to be 'on a par' with each others fitness at this stage, according to Counihan. "They are being treated all the time and they seem to be responding but we really won't know until later on in the week," he said. "I would say they are both on a par at this stage. They are doing light training. "We may delay naming the team because we want to give them every chance." Cork overcame Kerry to capture the Munster title this summer, but know they will need all hands on deck if they are to up their chances of defeating the reining All-Ireland Champions for the second time this year.
