Holland to be voted out tonight
February 18, 2008
The impasse in Cork will come to an end tonight (Monday February 18) when Teddy Holland is voted out as manager of the Cork footballers.
The manager has refused to step aside as recommended by the independent mediator's arbitration process, so the County Board must bring the whole thing to an end themselves.
Thus, they are expected to vote the west Cork man out at a meeting in Pairc Ui Chaoimh this evening.
Once Holland has been removed, the executives and County Board will try to move forward and save the Rebel County's year but moving on might not be so easy for the unfortunate man caught in the middle of the dispute.
