O Se to lead Clare in Murphy Cup

Paidi O'Se
Clare officials have confirmed that Paidi O Se will be in charge of the county's football team for the Tommy Murphy Cup.
The former Kerry and Westmeath manager's presence at training in Cusack Park, Ennis on Monday night finally brought an end to speculation that he had abandoned the Banner County in the wake of their shock Munster SFC first round loss to Waterford.
Team liaison officer Tom Downes said: "There was never a problem although Paidi was never given an official term - he mentioned himself at the launch that he would give it a go for two years.
"There's a lot of apathy towards the Tommy Murphy Cup but Paidi said that as soon as we got organised for it, he'd be there."
O Se faces a difficult task in lifting his depleted squad for Saturday's quarter-final clash with Munster rivals Tipperary in Ardfinnan.
