Harte angered over club pressure on players

Mickey Harte fears a club versus county conflict could disrupt Tyrone's preparations for their Ulster SFC first round clash with Fermanagh on May 20. The Tyrone boss was far from pleased when county stars Owen Mulligan, Raymond Mulgrew and Dermot Carlin were introduced during a club league match between Cookstown and Killyclogher a fortnight ago - just hours after the trio played in a tough NFL match against Kerry. "A number of games had been agreed prior to the start of the league and it was agreed that county players would not be in action after the Kerry game," Harte said. "Unfortunately, pressure was put on a number of them to play for their clubs. This was in breach of the policy which had been agreed."
