Tyrone football legend Peter Canavan has laughed off a suggestion by county boss Mickey Harte that there's a chance the O'Neill County talisman might have a change of heart about quitting the inter-county game. Harte yesterday (Monday) suggested that the Errigal Chiaran clubman might be persuaded to hold back on hanging up his boots with Tyrone. "Peter is finished for the time being. "But we will see in a few months if he changes his mind," Harte speculated. However Tyrone's goalscorer last Sunday was having none of it. "Mickey has a different way of thinking to me on this. "I definitely won't be back. "I've had an awful time with injuries and am constantly on the treatment table. "This is the best way to leave," Canavan confirmed. Tweet
