Christie back to full fitness

Dublin have received a huge boost ahead of their All-Ireland quarter final in two weeks with the news that captain Paddy Christie has returned to full training.

Full back Christie was forced off in the first half of the Leinster final win over Laois with a groin injury and there were severe doubts about his fitness for the provincial champions’ upcoming All-Ireland quarter-final.

However, Christie took a full part in training this week after intensive physiotherapy work over the past ten days and looks a good bet to wear the no. 3 jersey in the last eight tie.
