Kilkenny goalkeeper Eoin Murphy doesn't expect there to be more than a goal between Galway and Waterford come the conclusion of Sunday's All-Ireland SHC final.

The two counties collide for the first time ever in a Liam McCarthy Cup decider and Murphy, who has earned four Celtic Crosses between the posts for Cats, thinks Derek McGrath's side are in a better position to snatch a win.

"Waterford just have something building behind them. They seem to have been gaining confidence from every game and been written off, which I think unfairly too," Murphy told kclrfanzone.com.

"I know a lot of the Waterford guys and I will probably just tip them on that case because they just seem to be building.

"Since Cork beat them, they have been building something in every single game and they have been proven so I will go with Waterford by at least a score, one two or three points, they won't be any more than a goal in it I'd say."
