Belief is the key for Harte

Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has revealed that if he didn't believe his side could beat Dublin then he wouldn't want to be involved.

The Ulster side are underdogs against the defending All-Ireland SFC champions as they prepare to do battle in Sunday's semi-final at Croke Park.

Many pundits reckon that if there is one team that can break the Dubs dominance then it is Tyrone and Harte is a firm believer of that statement.

"If I didn't believe it was possible then I wouldn't want to be involved. You wouldn't be able to do the best for your players if you weren't able to say to them 'we are capable of getting to the top of the mountain'. I've believed that every year we have played," Harte told the Ulster Herald.

Harte is looking to guide his side to their first All-Ireland final since 2008 and he is confident that the young guns he has at his disposal won't be overawed by the occasion.

"I do believe we have game changers on the bench. While they mightn't be as experienced or they mightn't have as many medals that the Dublin squad have, I still think we have people who can make a difference."
