The weekend's gaelic football action threw up plenty of superb individual displays. Here's our team of the week...

1. Blaine Hughes (Armagh)

The Armagh netminder varied his kick-out strategy to telling effect in the morale boosting win over Kildare.

2. Fintan Kelly (Monaghan)

The Farney County corner-back is enjoying something of a goal rush at the minute having found the back of the opposition's net for the third game in-a-row.

3. James Morgan (Armagh)

Asked to curb the influence of Daniel Flynn, the Crossmaglen clubman played on the edge and restricted the GAA/GPA Footballer of the Month for June to a solitary point.

4. John McManus (Roscommon)

The Rossies proved they have what it takes to mix it with Mayo and will approach the replay in a confident frame of mind.

5. Paddy Durcan (Mayo)

Roamed forward to kick two valuable points including a 68th minute effort that edged Stephen Rochford's side in front.

6. Brendan Donaghy (Armagh)

Played the sweeper role to perfection and proved to be the rock on which many a Lilywhite attack perished.

7. Paul Murphy (Kerry)

Despite their eight point winning margin, Kerry didn't fire on all cylinders yesterday but Murphy's effective link play helped to ensure that they got the job done.

8. Lee Keegan (Mayo)

An action packed performance from the 'Footballer of the Year who not alone scored 1-3 but also did an excellent man-marking job on Enda Smith.

9. Kieran Hughes (Monaghan)

Along with his brother Darren, Hughes drove Monaghan forward at every opportunity and he contributed three points to their 1-24 tally.

10. Jamie Clarke (Armagh)

The fleet-footed forward was the main architect of Armagh's three point success and his second-half display was worth the admission price alone.

11. Johnny Buckley (Kerry)

Restored to the Kingdom's starting 15, the captain repaid manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice's faith in him with an accomplished performance that yielded two points from play.

12. Niall Kilroy (Roscommon)

The sweeper worked his socks off and his commitment to the cause was perfectly illustrated when he refused to back out of a 50/50 challenge with Aidan O'Shea in the first-half.

13. Connaire Harrison (Down)

Monaghan full-back Drew Wylie will be glad to see the back of Harrison who got the better of him for a second time in this championship season and he finished with 1-4 to his name.

14. Kieran Donaghy (Kerry)

There have been few better exponents in the art of high fielding than 'Star' in modern times and his aerial prowess was a key weapon in Kerry's arsenal against the Tribesmen.

15. Conor McManus (Monaghan)

A 10 point return from the Clontibret sharpshooter sent Monaghan on the road to victory against the Mourne County.
