"I don't subscribe to the theory that Dublin will blow them away"

Dublin manager Paddy Christie.
Kildare travel to Croke Park today hoping to break Dublin's monopoly of the Delaney Cup and former sky blue star Paddy Christie expects Cian O'Neill's side to produce a stern challenge.
After routine victories over Carlow and Westmeath, Jim Gavin and his players will face their first real test of the summer when they take on the Lilywhites who have put Laois and Meath to the sword in recent weeks.
“I wouldn’t read too much into the Carlow game or the Westmeath game, and somewhere in between tells us where Dublin are,” the ex full-back pointed out to The Irish Daily Sun.
“I don’t think they are as good as they showed against Westmeath and I don’t think they are as poor as they showed against Carlow.
“Every game is different and Kildare are coming on a bit of a high, so I don’t subscribe to the theory that Dublin will blow them away.”
