Cork fans invade the Semple Stadium pitch.

Sunday's Munster senior hurling championship final between Clare and Cork is expected to be a sellout at Semple Stadium.

Yesterday the Munster Council confirmed that tickets for both the Kinnane and Ó Rian Stands are sold out, as well as tickets for the Town End.

There are still a number of tickets available online and at Centra and SuperValu outlets but the expectation is that the Thurles venue will reach its 46,000 capacity on Sunday.

Last year's provincial decider down south between Tipperary and Waterford at the Gaelic Grounds saw a crowd of 26,508 at the Limerick venue.
