Derry could be without key forward Mark Lynch for the next four rounds of the Allianz Football League.

The Banagher clubman suffered a knee injury during the Oak Leafers' drawn Division 2 opener against Clare last Sunday and is a notable absentee from Damian Barton's side to play Meath this weekend.

Glen forward Danny Tallon replaces Lynch, who was instrumental in his county's All-Ireland SFC qualifier run last summer, at left corner-forward, making up the front line with Benny Heron and Emmett McGuckin.

Should Lynch require the full six weeks to recover his return would likely be against Cork at Celtic Park on March 26th.
