Hopes that Ciaran Sheehan would be returning to the Cork colours next year have been dashed after it was confirmed that he'll be remaining in the AFL with Carlton.
The Blues announced this morning that the 2010 All-Ireland winning forward has been re-rookie listed, despite being plagued by injury since joining them three years ago. The 26-year-old made just four appearances at the start of last season for Carlton's affiliate club Northern Blues in the Victorian Football League before injury ended his season.
