Erin's Own, Cargin 1-11
St. Gall's, Belfast 0-6
Cargin underlined their superiority over long-time kingpins St. Gall's with a comfortable victory in the Antrim SFC final at Corrigan Park.
The outcome was never in doubt after Tomas McCann scored the only goal in the seventh minute after corner back Kevin O'Boyle had surged through the opposing defence. The holders went on to lead by 1-9 to 0-2 at the break as Ryan McKernan, Ciaran Close and Michael Magill all got on the scoresheet.
St. Gall's introduced CJ McGourty at half-time and he accounted for all of their scores in the second half. But despite only adding two points after the break, the Toomebridge side cruised to back-to-back successes.
