Coalisland and Killyclogher must meet again to decide who will be crowned Tyrone senior football champions for 2016.

Nathan Donnelly earned a share of the spoils for Killyclogher as it finished Coalisland 1-13, Killyclogher 0-16 in Healy Park.

In what was a closely contested affair throughout, Coalisland drew first blood on the scoreboard thanks to Plunkett Kane and they led by the narrowest of margins - 0-8 to 0-7 - at half-time.

Played in front of approximately 9,000 spectators, Cathaoir Quinn netted the only goal of the contest early in the second-half but they were unable to shake off the close attentions of Killyclogher .

Last year's runners-up deserve credit for the manner in which they dug in after losing half-back Gary Wallace to a red card in the 40th minute.

The sides were level on no fewer than ten occasions but late points from Peter McGahan and Kane placed the Fianna men in a match winning position.

Much to the relief of the Killyclogher support, there was still sufficient time remaining for Donnelly to come to his team's rescue.

"For a minute there it looked as though we were going to lose it," admitted Killyclogher's Mark Bradley, who finished with six points to his name, when speaking to TG4's GAA BEO.

"So, especially after last year, to come out and get the draw was important today."
