Club Eirne has launched a fresh appeal to try to enlist 60 new recruits.

The official fundraising arm affiliated to Fermanagh County Board, Club Eirne are promoting 'Seeking Sixty' in order to recruit sixty new members in time for the county committee Annual General Meeting in mid-December.

Club Eirne members and patrons have, since its inception 15 years ago, contributed very generously to the development of youth and the promotion of gaelic games in the county.

"The county final is sixty minutes of sheer effort, toil and, for one team at least, utter bliss at the finish," Club Eirne chairman Ger Treacy told the Fermanagh GAA website. "We feel that number represents something significant in the GAA and that's why we have set ourselves an ambitious, but nonetheless achievable target of gaining sixty new members.

"In three months' time, the county committee Annual General Meeting will be held and we wish to have achieved that figure by then - sixty new members or patrons on board. That would add to the 200 that have already signed up."
