Donegal manager Rory Gallagher has issued the county board his ultimatum, according to a report today.

Update: Donegal in continued discussion with Gallagher with no ultimatums

The Irish Sun reports that the Enniskillen native is seeking four more years in his current role and is thought that he will walk away if they are not granted.

It is believed that the county board convened on Monday night to process Gallagher's request, with talk of them willing to offer another three-year term to Gallagher with the option of a fourth, which reflects his current deal.

Next season would see Gallagher entering into the third year of his current term, having taking over from Jim McGuinness following the Tir Chonaill men's All-Ireland SFC final defeat to Kerry in 2014.

High-profile members of the Donegal squad, such as Michael Murphy and Ryan McHugh, have recently voiced their support of Gallagher remaining at the helm.
