Erne Gaels are through to their first Fermanagh SFC final in 35 years after powering to a 2-13 to 0-9 victory over former kingpins Roslea at Brewster Park yesterday.

An early goal from Seamus Ryder - who went off injured before half-time - laid the foundations for the Belleek's men win. They went on to lead by 1-4 to 0-4 at the break and tightened their grip on proceedings in a dominant second half display. Michael Og McGarrigle grabbed their second goal before county star Seamus Quigley scored a consolation goal for Roslea from the penalty spot in stoppage-time.

The Gaels' opponents in the final will be champions Derrygonnelly who defeated Devenish in the semi-final for the second year in-a-row. The Harps prevailed on this occasion by 2-13 to 0-9 with Johnny McGurn and Declan Cassidy raising the green flags to leave them just 60 minutes away from retaining the New York Gold Cup for the first time.
