Former Limerick dual-star Stephen Lucey has been included in the six-man committee to find a new county senior football manager.

The Limerick board have formed the committee to find a replacement for John Brudair who stood down recently.

Lucey has 30 championship appearances to his name for the Limerick footballers during which time he featured in four Munster SFC finals.

Limerick football chairman John Cregan will lead the committee, while former county selector Billy Lee, Limerick Football Development Officer Gerry Philips, County Board vice-chairman, Liam O'Sullivan and St Senan's clubman Mike Mullane make up the panel.

The committee will give an update to county board delegates at a meeting next Tuesday night.
