It was a hectic weekend of action on the football field, here's our team of the week...

1. Brian Kelly (Kerry)

Denied Tipperary's Michael Quinlivan with a top class save in the 45th minute at Fitzgerald Stadium.

2. Ciaran Gillespie (Donegal)

Stepped up to the plate in the absence of the suspended Neil McGee, the Gaoth Dobhair youngster held his own in both games against the Farney County.

3. Ronan McNamee (Tyrone)

Endured a difficult day in the drawn encounter against David Givney but won a couple of high ball duels before the Cavan man departed the action in the 26th minute.

4. Gearoid Hanrahan (Laois)

Laois advance to a Round 2A qualifier clash with Clare having finished with a point to spare over Armagh in Saturday's re-fixture.

5. Killian Young (Kerry)

The experienced Renard clubman put in a fine shift against the Premier County and also got on the scoresheet.

6. Niall Sludden (Tyrone)

Manned the centre-back position to telling effect as the Red Hands kept Cavan at bay when the game was in the melting pot.

7. Peter Harte (Tyrone)

The pacy Errigal Ciaran man produced a jaw dropping display that yielded 2-4 (2-3 from play) for the Red Hands.

8. Rory Kavanagh (Donegal)

Two yellow cards brought Kavanagh's participation to a premature end in the 66th minute but he was a key figure for Rory Gallagher's side up to that point.

9. Mattie Donnelly (Tyrone)

Continued his rich vein of form with another five star display in the Tyrone engine room and kicked three points for good measure.

10. Martin O'Reilly (Donegal)

Found the target with three crucial points and his direct running asked plenty of tough questions of the Farney defence.

11. Sean Cavanagh (Tyrone)

The Red Hand captain's experience came to the fore and his intelligent positioning caused plenty of headaches for the Breffni County.

12. Paul Murphy (Kerry)

Finished off a well worked move to the back of the Tipperary net in the 17th minute and was his usual hard-working self throughout the 70 minutes.

13. Paul Geaney (Kerry)

One of the highlights from a Kingdom perspective was the performance of Geaney who contributed 2-3 to their winning total.

14. Niall Murphy (Sligo)

With Pat Hughes missing through injury, Niall Carew switched Murphy from midfield to full-forward and the move paid off as he fired five points against Leitrim.

15. Connor McAliskey (Tyrone)

Showed a clean pair of heels to the Cavan defence before confidently finishing to the net for his side's third goal.
