Ireland V France would be at 2pm on Sunday...

If the Republic of Ireland beat Italy tomorrow, it could present Leinster Council with a nightmare fixture clash.

Martin O'Neill's men need to win in Lille on Wednesday to secure a third-place finish in Group E and qualify for the knockout stage of Euro '16. Should they pull it off, their most likely Last Sixteen opponents will be hosts France in Paris on Sunday at 2pm.

This will clash directly with the Leinster SFC semi-final double-header at Croke Park, featuring Westmeath V Kildare at 2pm and Dublin V Meath at 4pm.

However, judging by how poor Ireland were against Belgium on Saturday, it's going to take a big improvement for us to have something to worry about. Here's hoping!
