Limerick's chances of progressing in this year's All-Ireland SFC qualifiers have suffered a setback as two players have departed to the States for the summer.

The Shannonsiders take on Antrim in Belfast on June 25th, but they must do so without Cian Sheehan and Danny Neville.

Both players lined out in the defeat to Clare in the Munster SFC and played the full 70 minutes, but they have informed the management of their decision to spend the next few months Stateside.

The loss of two such key players is a massive blow to Limerick's chances of progressing through to the next round.
