Mickey Harte says Cavan have evolved into a more potent attacking force.

Ahead of this weekend's Ulster SFC semi-final against the Breffni County, Tyrone manager Harte points out that Terry Hyland has moulded a side possessing both defensive acumen and offensive prowess:

"I think that we're both conscious about looking after the defensive side of our game, but we still have this desire to go forward and get scores," he notes in The Irish News

"So I think you will see lots of break-out football from both sides, and it will be who can deal with the opposition's break-out best that might be in with a chance of being ahead on the scoreboard.

"They have a capacity to deal with a dip in their form during the game, where they were on top [against Armagh], and let it slip a wee bit, but grabbed it back again very quickly.

"The other thing is that they have become more of an offensive threat than they were over this past number of years.

"I think they have moved their game on from taking care of the defensive side of it and limiting their attacking prowess because of that - I think now they are still defensively structured well, but they break with more purpose now, and they're racking up bigger scores, as they have been doing all year.

"That's the proof that that is the case for them. They're building on a system that they put in place to be mean defensively, but becoming more productive going forward."
