Westmeath are said to be seething after Kieran Martin had his nose broken by an opponent immediately after today's Leinster SFC quarter-final win over Offaly.
The All Star nominee was allegedly struck when he offered a handshake to the player in question. Kerry referee Padraig O'Sullivan didn't take any action, but it's believed details of the incident were relayed to him which could appear in his report.
Despite the injury, Martin is expected to be available for the provincial semi-final against Kildare in two weeks' time, while Ray Connellan will also be back from his trial with AFL outfit St Kilda.
