The Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) will convene on Tuesday to discuss the dispute over the controversial result from yesterday's Christy Ring Cup final.

A sensational comeback at Croke Park saw Meath defeat Antrim by 2-18 to 1-20, securing the title by a point, but sports reporters at the game had it down as a draw at full-time, 2-17 to 1-20.

According to RTE Sport, match referee John O'Brien admitted that a mistake was made with the final score and the CCCC are now scheduled to meet in two days' time over the fiasco.

It's understood that Antrim GAA have since reviewed the video footage from the game and are considering appealing the result.
