Knockbeg College student Darren Lunney is a surprise inclusion in the Carlow team for this evening's Leinster SFC opener against Louth in Portlaoise.

The Ballinabranna teenager will make his first ever appearance at senior level for the Barrowsiders after being named at right half forward. Brendan Murphy and Sean Gannon form a formidable midfield partnership, while the versatile Daniel St Ledger starts at full back as Carlow bid to repeat their shock championship win of 2011 over the Wee County.
