Cillian O'Connor will captain Mayo in this year's championship.

The Ballintubber sharpshooter will lead the Westerners out for their Connacht SFC opener against London in Ruislip on Sunday, May 29. Mayo are seeking a record-breaking sixth consecutive Nestor Cup this year.

O'Connor succeeds fellow All Star Keith Higgins in the role.
