Denis Bastick and Dublin will be looking to extend their 21 game unbeaten run this weekend - but Bryan Sheehan and Kerry hope to throw a spanner in the works.

This Sunday's Allianz FL Division 1 showpiece will see the two counties renew their longstanding rivalry and holders Dublin have 'momentum' on their side.

"There's a lot to be said for momentum and that's what Dublin have right now," Dublin midfielder Bastick commented at a finals preview in Croke Park today.

"It's a bit of cliche but it's only one game at a time. We're not looking back on those 21 games, we're looking forward to Sunday but definitely as a team, as a group, winning becomes a habit and that's the phase we're in right now.

"We continually try to improve, we continually try to get better and we'll be hoping to continue on that run going forward."

The last team to beat Dublin was Kerry in last year's league in Killarney. Sheehan's six point-haul boosted the hosts to a 0-15 to 1-10 on that occasion and the captain says they owe the Metropolitans a defeat.

"I wouldn't say it's motivation to end the winning streak of Dublin but, more so for ourselves, it's that they have beaten us the last couple of years and it would be nice to put a stop to that.

"I think more importantly it's a league final and every time you come to Croke Park you want to win, especially when there's silverware at the end of the day.

"We really want to win it and it would set us up nicely for the championship going forward if we were to win on Sunday."
