Fermanagh assured themselves of survival with this battling 0-12 to 1-9 derby draw with Tyrone at Enniskillen.

The point earned today means Pete McGrath's men survive as one of four teams deadlocked on six points on the final league table - Armagh fall to Division Three on scoring averages. (Laois finished bottom of the table with just three points.)

Barry Tierney's tenth-minute major had Mickey Harte's men ahead by 1-4 to 0-6 at half time, with Sean Quigley clipping over the last two scores before the break.

Points from Ryan Lyons and Quigley (free) had the hosts in front for the first time and Fermanagh controlled most of the second half. They led by three going into the last 15 minutes but Tyrone pegged them back.

Substitute Pat Cadden hit what looked like the winner but the Red Hands - who will play Cavan in the division's decider at Croke Park - preserved their unbeaten record thanks to a late Ronan O'Neill strike.

Both sides will be happy with their afternoon's work, especially after having key men - Tomas Corrigan and Sean Cavanagh respectively - black-carded in the first half.
