The untimely death of former Down footballer Peter Turley (33) has been met with widespread shock and sadness in the Mourne County and further afield.
The Saval GAC clubman, who lined out at midfield for Queen's University in the Sigerson Cup finals of 2005 and '06, passed away yesterday.
His namesake is involved in the current Down senior football panel.
